What Is It?: The
Stones were too uncontainable to put in a Hard Day’s Night style scripted romp,
so Andrew Oldham made them the somewhat unwilling subjects of a documentary
instead. Mick and Keith are the hammy ones, Bill the noncommittal one, Brian
the fey and articulate one, and Charlie the inarticulate, possibly
self-loathing one. He’s also my darling.
