Russell’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s mess is also a mess. Unlike the novel,
the film is a hilarious, sexy, free-spirited, imaginative, hallucinatory,
delightfully offensive (as opposed to Stoker’s just plain offensive) mess. All hail
Amanda Donohoe!
